Global Origins

  • Established in the UK as a trading company for consumer products, it manufactures and sells healthcare and skincare products across the UK and the Indian subcontinent.
  • Established in India under the Companies Act as a master manufacturer and distributor of Beiersdorf, marking the beginning of JL Morison's operations in the country.

1970 — 2011

Strategic Partnerships

  • Manufacturing facilities established in Bangalore and Mumbai.
  • Our chairman, Mr. Raghu Mody, acquired a controlling stake in J.L Morison, while Nivea (Beiersdorf) exited to establish its own subsidiary in India.
  • Leaders Health Care facility set up in Kolkata to Swiss standards for the manufacturing of Emoform.

2011-2015

Brand Reinvention

  • A new chapter of leadership began with Sakshi Mody joining the business as the Promoter with a vision to strengthen company's future growth.
  • Strengthened brand portfolio by making Morisons Baby Dreams the flagship brand, expanding its product range, and consolidating key partner brands like Bigen and Emoform.
  • Expanded manufacturing capabilities with the Rasoi plant in Kolkata commencing production of the Morisons Baby Dreams feeding range under the guidance of Mrs. Shashi Mody.

2016-2022

Digital & Manufacturing Transformation

  • Achieved new milestones with ₹100 crore in revenue, while Morisons Baby Dreams became the company's highest-contributing brand through the expansion of its baby care range, including diapers.
  • Strengthened manufacturing and brand presence with the Waluj plant producing Bigen products and the appointment of Sir Ravindra Jadeja as the brand ambassador for Bigen Men's Beard.
  • Created impact beyond business by launching our ESG and Corporate Philanthropy journey, introducing Project Kamyaab, which aims at training women and enabling them to secure employment.
